Perimenopause and Observing Your Mom

I have often observed my mom. She’s my role model. We even look the same, but with different haircuts. But now I’m observing her for a health reason. I want to know the exact time when she’s entering perimenopause. Perimenopause is the time when women start preparing for the end of their fertility. It’s a very hard time that changes a lot of things in our body. We begin suffering from hot flashes, really bad mood swings and irregular periods. There’s no reliable way to find out when you’ll become perimenopausal. But you can estimate it from close female relatives like your mom. My mom’s in her forties and she isn’t perimenopausal yet. I hope I’m just as lucky.
