My Best Vacation
My parents had been promising a family vacation for three years, but there always seemed to be a problem. Either one of them couldn’t get the time off or money was tight or we couldn’t find the right place to visit. When they said we were actually going this past summer, I was doubtful. When they said we would be staying in some one’s home, I was really not thrilled. However, Wanaka Holiday Homes had booked us into a really nice place. We did all kinds of sight-seeing and even spent extra money on special treats. Dad said we were saving a lot by eating many meals in our “home away from home.” It was the best vacation yet!
