Buying Trains Online
I was wondering if auction sites are reliable places to buy N Gauge model trains? I’ve actually never used an online auction site and I’m wary of it. Can I trust the sellers to be reliable and describe the train correctly? Are there ways to tell who is reputable and who isn’t? What about the trains themselves? Are they usually used and can I trust them to be in working order or should I just stick with buying my trains at local hobby stores? I’m not new to the hobby but haven’t purchased things online before so I’m worried about getting taken for a ride.
