Do it yourself is not always cheaper
Yes, it’s true you can do pretty much anything on your own and it seams to be cheaper, too. You just go to the store and get the ingredients, that’s cheaper than to buy the actual thing, isn’t it?
Wrong!
Well, yes the ingredients themself are cheaper but you have to spend time while you put them together, don’t you?
How much money do you get per hour? Let’s assume it’s only 5$ which is quite cheap. Now calculate how many hours you would need to build, knit, create, make whatever you want, multiply by 5$ and add that to the price of the ingredients, still cheaper than buying?
I don’t think so.
That’s why I’m going to hire people to build my house and even to compare home insurance quotes even though I could do that online for free myself.
