Beautiful Brazilian Cherry Hardwood Floors
We just had Brazilian cherry hardwood floors installed in our house and they are beautiful. We had a wide variety of Brazilian hardwoods to choose from and the cherry was our favorite. The Brazilian hardwoods are considered premium hardwoods. They are especially hard and very durable. Ours came in three inch and five inch boards. We chose the three inch boards. We also chose a brand that had a variety of shades in the boards so it ranges from lighter cherry to very dark cherry. It’s also a distressed version of the Brazilian hardwoods which means it has some marks in the wood to make it have a new but older look. It was installed in two days. The installation included removal of our carpet and old base boards and the installation of new base boards and quarter round molding. We went with a molding that matches the wall color and causes the cherry hardwood to stand out better.
