With such a huge group of us heading to the ragga festival I knew it would be a challenge for us to all stay at the same place. I ended up making bookings at a few different rotorua motels as we needed twelve rooms, which of course were not available all at one spot. It has been a while since we all got together so it should be a pretty crazy weekend. We all decided to stay on there for a couple of extra nights so that we could hang out, hit up some restaurants and bars and just have a good catch up.

I would visit this special town just an hour’s ferry ride away. It’s a small town I have fond memories of. Warm and smiling faces greet you wherever you go. Everyday food is gourmet quality. People are caring and fun loving. You will always hear someone laugh and excitedly talk about the day’s events. Everywhere you go, whether to the supermarket during the day or a nightclub late at night, you will likely bump into someone you know. I used to have a house there but have moved to a new town now. I visit every now and then and used to stay at a hotel. I recently discovered a great bed and breakfast that feels like home. I’ve stayed there the last 5 times that I’ve returned to that quaint little town. I’ll always remember where it’s at because it’s named after the street it sits on, 11th Street. The staff and the owner of that b & b will be seeing more of me for years to come whenever I visit that City of Smiles.

When I typed rotorua motels in to the search engine, I was quite amazed by the amount of places there were. I knew it was a very popular tourist destination as it is probably one of the cultural centers of the country but I hadn’t realized just how much it had developed over the years. I suppose it has been about ten years since I was last there and even though it was a reasonable sized city then, it has become even bigger since then. There is nothing like picking your destination for a vacation and then sitting back and going wow, where do we start with things to do. When we finally got down to looking at all of the Costa Rica Vacation Packages that they had to offer we debated for hours on everything that we wanted to do. For the past month I have been recovering from two broken legs I received in a motorcycle accident on the 22 interchange. Strangely enough neither one of them were compound fractures and they should heal nicely. The big problem was just sitting around doing not much at all. Last night, Friday night, my wife came into the living room to sit next to me. She brought with her a travel brochure to talk about Hoteles En Lima Peru.
