Rather than spend months trying to figure out the basics of fly fishing instructions, I went online to see about trying BC remote fly in fishing. I found a service that had a great deal of experience with this, and I gave them a call. Their rates were affordable, and I was able to reserve a spot for myself. I had the most amazing time, and I caught more fish than ever before. This is truly the way to fish!

Our son decided he wanted to start racing in competitions on his dirt bike. I’m thinking how expensive can it be? We already had the bike, he had his boots and his suit, his helmet was pretty new, so there wasn’t much left. I did do some research on his Motorcycle Goggles. There are so many that are out there I had a hard time deciding which kind to get. I understand that eyes need extra protection from flying debris. I’m very glad I spent a little more money on them, now it’s one less body part I have to worry about while he’s competing.

One of my favorite things about hiking is that it doesn’t cost a lot. I got hooked on this hobby as a college student when a group of us sat in a dorm room having yet another discussion about what to do given our cash shortage. Someone suggested we head out to a local mountain for a hike, and it soon became a tradition. I quickly learned that my running shoes simply wouldn’t cut it for the muddy conditions we often encountered and I was therefore thrilled when I stumbled on a pair of discount hiking boots at a sporting goods store. Now my hiking excursions are both comfortable AND affordable!

I play for the golf team at my university, but I really want to improve some different aspects of my game. I have signed up to attend the Rob Watts golf academy and I truly hope I can learn some new things. From what I have read, they work to help you perfect certain things, like your golf swing. What I like best is that they show you certain things that professional golfer use whenever they perform. If I can learn those tips, I think it will greatly help me to improve my game and I might even be able to win a tournament.

I have recently purchased Treadmill Trainer 3. I have been running for two years, I started when I was 46 and have completed four 1/2 marathons to date. My problem is I am slow. Although my endurance has greatly increased, I can now run 26 km and last a whole game of old lady soccer, I can’t seem to push myself to get faster. I needed somebody to push me. I believe guys find this easier to do than women, I think we give up a lot quicker.I started with Treadmill 3 after listening to the demo, and have been working on that interval session for the last 3 weeks and guess what, I am starting to improve. My lofty goal is to shave off 10 minutes for a 10 K race the first week of December 2009. I want to run a 50 minute 10 K, which means I need to get used to running 5 min kilometers.Treadmill Trainer 3 has been working great. It is 45 minutes long, which is a perfect interval session for me. All my running so far has just involved hills, tempo runs and long slow distance training.I have never done interval work and was always scared of it. With Yuri as coach, you feel he is right there, pushing you to push yourself. It is truly amazing, and you don’t want to let him down. I have been able to work out some pace bands for each interval within the workout and I can now sustain a 5:15 km for 5 - 7 minutes, awesome. The thing is, I am getting used to running faster, and because you do it on the Treadmill, it sorts out what that pace is supposed to feel like in relation to exertion, and that is truly valuable, because I have discovered that what I thought was impossible and way too hard can be done, even if for a minute. I am an asthmatic too!I am ready to download Treadmill 4 and Hills 1 and will use these other workouts in conjunction with Treadmill 3. I will let you all know how I do in the Catch the Elves race on December 5, I have every confidence that I will get under 60 minutes.I am grateful to have a tool and training partner who is always there for me, who I can take with me on my IPOD and never worry about standing him up.He is also fun to take outside, you feel like you are in a race against your best friend.Thank you Yuri, I am so pleased.P.S. I wish you did soccer running drills too!

For my daughter’s tenth birthday we decided to have a yard party. I asked her what kind of fun outdoor games she would like to play with her friends. She did not know a lot of games so I picked a few examples and told her about them. She decided she liked the idea of croquet and badminton. Those seem to be easy enough so I went and bought the supplies and equipment for the games. The croquet was a huge hit and all of the kids loved it. Now we have a croquet set for the family to play whenever we want.
