When my sister comes to visit, we make up for all the time we have to spend apart. She moved to Boston a few years ago, leaving me stuck here in the Midwest. One of our favorite ways to enjoy an evening is to hang out at a comedy club. My friends and I found a new one last week that I can’t wait to take my sister to when she gets here next month. Every time I email her, I end it with one of the funny comedian quotes that I picked up from the comedy club. I’m sure it will be so much better in person.

I really love playing instruments. For me, this is one great way to express the way you feel about things or simply to while the time. I know for sure that things are getting better and better now. I finally know how to play the bodhran after quite a time. It took me some time to get by and learn to play the bodhran. It is not like most instruments commonly played that will take you less than a month to learn. I spent months of learning how to play the bodhran but it is really worth it. The months of learning paid off.
