Getting a Great Rate
My brother told me that he was able to get a car at a better rate by getting one of those military auto loans. The finance people took into consideration that he was in the military and arranged his payments so that they would fit in his budget. He got a lower interest rate through them then he would have been able to get in the private sector, and they did not penalize him for having very little credit history. He is thrilled with his car and told me that he would use them again if he needed a new car.
