The Great Thing About Wiper Blades

Great wiper blade are a real asset in motoring and good quality is really important. An extremely high amount of vehicles have wiperblades fitted – even trains and aircraft. J. H. Apjohn was an American inventor and he first came up with the idea of a wiperblade. 1903 – the very same year saw the update of the wiperblade to a ‘swinging arm’ mechanism that we recognise today. Spraying fluid onto the screen through a pump installed under the bonnet is helpful alongside the wiperblade in gaining good visibility. Problems can arise when water is used in the pump, this is fine in summer but it can freeze in the cold weather and will be useless. As technology advanced in later years wiperblades were added to rear windows and also to headlights. Rain sensitive wiperblades are now added to many modern cars and this advance in technology is exciting.
