When I first picked up a guitar I didn’t know a single scale or chord. Matter of fact I really didn’t even know that much about music in general but I’d seen some guys jamming out at a party I went to and thought it looked pretty cool so I bought a $75 guitar and cheap amp at a pawn shop and went to it.
Unfortunately I sucked really bad. It wasn’t as easy as they made it look at all. Luckily I had a friend at a local music store who lent me a solid Guitar Lesson Book to get me started. It took me a solid 8 months or so but when I was done with it I could actually play 100s of songs.
