I got this desk three months ago based just on the looks of it on furniture 123 store. I think it looks better in the photos than in my room, because almost all of the space is occupied by something. One thing I did not realize, and which the photo does not show, is the fact that the miles of wiring for two computers, printer, speakers, router, etc., will show right through the glass. The other thing to note is that the steel frames on the desktop – two outer and two inner – are not flush with the glass. This is a good thing for the outer edges, but the inner frames could be a problem if the monitor is lying on it, or The glass top has moved a little whenever I have moved the monitors. But other than that, I am pleased with the desk, especially for the price.

It was the end of the work financial year and i was due to give a presentation to the “shirts” upstairs about the years performance in terms of how well our advertising stratagies were working. I have to say i was in a panic, the last 3 months had been abismal when it came to advertising response rates. Usually we were reciving a high number of hits from our seo campaign but these had dropped dramatical;ly, i needed to be able to explain why this was. I quickly got on the phone to my seo company and asked them to explain what was going on. To cut a very long story short i had managed to find out that they had stopped working on our account but were still charging us, i could not believe it, they were falsifying work. My “shirts” were not happy and gave us a day long training session in the importance of campaign management, i was so embarrased!

I am the financial director of the company i work for. i did not get here because there was no one else to do the job but because i as competent, and this is why i do not allow people to demean anything i do because i know i do it to the highest standards of professionalism. there are those who call me the grants expert because i seem to be giving our money to the different departments all the time and there is always enough for everyone. on the same note is that i demand the same type of work from those who are charged with bringing money to the company and so the sales executives always have it rough when they do not meet my demands.
